If I were a child ...

As a child I would like to live in a place I can call my house and not a "home". I would feel protected, listened to, not judged or discriminated against, both inside and outside my home. I wish I could play, laugh, have fun, make friends, create lasting relationships, know what I'm curious about and play with my skills. I would like to experience the warmth and strength of the family that I belong to natural law and constitutional. In a nutshell, I would like to grow with the ability to experiment freely and peacefully all the dimensions that are inherent to the developmental stage that I'm going through, feeling close to me always watchful and discreet presence of people who love me.

I would like to have by my side someone who is capable of correcting, when necessary, the route of my journey, not by coercion, through dogmatic thoughts or pursue a higher power made me feel like an end in itself, but with the ability to always see me and understand the values and meanings that lie beyond the horizon of the goals and challenges that await me every day. I want to live together with people with their own live, think and act, they can be proof and witness of truth and reality of all those places that I'm looking hard. I would always hear the voice and the hand that I stop and warn are only moved by the love and unconditional desire to lead me to my real good. Finally, looking into my heart one day, I wish I could always find the presence of that place I learned to call "home" and that is my indelible memory of a time that I could call childhood and adolescence.
